Cuban Vice-President Begins Official Visit to China

Havana, Cuba, June 17.- Cuban first vice-president Miguel Diaz-Canel and China’s vice-president Li Yuanchao affirmed in Beijing on Monday the excellent level of bilateral political, economic and social relations between China and Cuba and they reiterated their willingness to further expand those links.

Antonio Maceo saw the first sunbeams in the 19th century; Ernesto Che Guevara, did it in the 20th, but a happy coincidence made possible that these two men of great courage were born on the same date: on June 14th.
